On May 7, 2023, at approximately 12:25 am, Fisher Branch RCMP responded to an injured female, at a residence in Peguis First Nation.
It was determined that the female was walking on Peguis First Nation, when she was attacked by several dogs. The female managed to get to a residence for help.
The 52-year-old female was air-lifted to hospital with serious injuries.
The RCMP has been informed by Peguis First Nation Chief and Council that the dogs thought to be responsible have been destroyed.
Fisher Branch RCMP continue to investigate.
