Eighth straight day of no new COVID-19 cases in Manitoba

Active cases decrease to 6 from 11

You can make it eight straight days, as no new cases of COVID-19 are being reported, keeping Manitoba's total at 325. 

Health officials say only 6 active cases remain, no COVID patients are in hospital or intensive care. The number of deaths due to the virus remains at seven while 312 people have recovered. 

As of Tuesday(July 7) a total of 67,618 tests have been conducted at the Cadham Provicinal Lab. 

Meanwhile, the province is looking for feedback on proposed personal care home visitation shelters. The purpose of the shelters is to support the quality of life for residents by ensuring meaningful connections continue between residents of Manitoba's personal care homes and their visitors. The province is asking for public feedback on design requirements related to physical distancing protocols, personal protective equipment, frequency of use and ways to support quality visits You can take the survey at https://engagemb.ca/visitation-shelters.
