Manitoba’s Conservatives will choose a new leader and our next premier October 30th.
Voting will be done by mail and every party member gets one vote. The ballots will be counted on October 30th.
So far, only one candidate, Heather Stefanson, wants Brian Pallister’s job after he announced he would not be running in the next provincial election scheduled for 2023.
The deadline for nominations will be September 15th and the cut-off date for new memberships is September 30th.
Applicants will also be required to submit a $25,000 entry fee and sign up a minimum of 1,000 new or renewed party members.
