The Manitoba Female Midget Hockey League has handed out year-end hardware.
Killarney product Jaycee Magwood of the Westman Wildcats was named MVP and a first-team all-star after finishing fourth in league scoring with 23 goals and 43 points in 28 games.
Joining Magwood on the first-team was fellow Wildcat Melissa Hunt of Hartney, MacGregor’s Sheridan Oswald of the Central Plains Capitals and Altona’s Kate Friesen of the Pembina Valley Hawks.
The second all-star team includes Virden’s Sky Brown of the Wildcats, Brandonite Jalyn Elmes of the Yellowhead Chiefs, Manitou’s Lauryn Keen of the Hawks along with MacGregor’s Courtlyn Oswald and Tamara McVannel of the Caps’.
