Captain Cody Nelson joined CKLQ's Tyler Crayston for Thursday's Virden Oil Capitals' Report.
The Caps' open the 2014 portion of their MJHL regular season with a two-game road trip this weekend, facing the OCN Blizzard Saturday and the Dauphin Kings Sunday.
Virden is 23-11-2 to lead the Sher-Wood Division by five points over Dauphin.
