As pandemic restrictions are slowly eased, more of us are wearing face masks when out in public, and more of us are open to getting vaccinated.
A new Leger poll about two-thirds of Canadians (68%) will get the vaccine once it’s available, 16% says nope – while another 16% are not sure, or preferred not to answer.
In Manitoba/Saskatchewan – 64% said they’d receive the vaccine, 14% said no – while 22% were not sure or did not answer.
Leger says vaccination intentions are highest in Atlantic-Canada at 81%.
As for a second wave of COVID-19 – 76% of Canadians believe it’s coming – and 4-in-10 think it’ll be worse than the current wave.
Leger conducted the poll from June 5 to June 7.
