Public Notice is hereby given pursuant to subsection 162(2) of The Municipal Act that the Council of The City of Brandon intends to present its financial plan for the fiscal year 2023 at a public hearing that will be held in the Council Chamber, City Hall (2nd Floor), 410 - 9th Street, Brandon, on Monday, April 3, 2023 at 6:00 p.m.
Council will hear any person who wishes to make a representation, ask questions, or register an objection to the proposed financial plan. If you wish to appear at the Public Hearing in person, you must register with the City Clerk's Office to attend by calling 204-729-2296. The City will also be accepting written representations by sending an email to cityclerk@brandon.ca or by postal mail to City Clerk's Office, 410 - 9th Street, Brandon, MB, R7A 6A2.
The hearing will be broadcast on the City's YouTube channel youtube.com/CityofBrandonMB.
Copies of the 2023 Financial Plan may be obtained by contacting the City Clerk's office at 204-729-2296 during regular office hours from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or on the City's website at https://brandon.ca/budget/finances-budget

Also next week, a meeting will take place for Brandon residents in Wards 5 and 7.
It'll be held on April 4th at Meadows School beginning at 6:30 pm - and a number of topics will be covered including the City Plan, Ward capital projects, the Westview Community Gardens - and the Olivia the Brave Playground.
Members of the city's administration will be in attendance.
