A motor-vehicle collision involving a pedestrian has resulted in the death of a 30-year-old woman, from Swan River.
Sunday (July 5) morning, just before 130am, officers say a motorist, an 18-year-old man from Saskatchewan, was heading northbound on Highway 10 when the vehicle struck a pedestrian.
The woman was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead, while the driver suffered only minor injuries.
Officers believe the woman was in a vehicle that had run out of gas, and was trying to flag down a passing vehicle when the crash happened.
