On June 29, 2023, at approximately 3:15 pm, Manitoba First Nation Police Service responded to an injured female, at a residence on Sandy Bay Ojibway First Nation. When officers arrived, they located a 24-year-old female deceased in the home.
Her death is being investigated as a homicide.
RCMP Major Crime Services, along with Forensic Identification Services, continue to investigate.
