The Santa Clara Baseball League’s championship series is headed to a fifth and deciding game.
Daylon Creasy tossed a four-hitter and scored three runs to pace the Carberry Royals to an 8-1 victory over the Minnedosda Mavericks Wednesday night, tying the Best-of-Five League Final 2-2.
Torey Scott homered, doubled, singled and drove in four runs for the Royals while Scott Witherspoon added a two-run homer and totalled three RBI’s.
The fifth and deciding game is scheduled for Friday night in Minnedosa (6:30 p.m.).
The Mavericks are seeking a ninth straight league title.
