On March 21, 2023, Brandon police received a report of an assault, which allegedly took place in the laundry room of an apartment building on Cornel Bay on March 20, 2023. Police say a female youth was reportedly assaulted by several other female youth, and the incident was captured on security footage.
On March 22, 2023, police arrested a 12-year-old female suspect while she was in custody at BCC on another matter. She will appear in court on April 18, 2023 on charges of Assault and Mischief. A 13-year-old female was also arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service to appear in court on charges of Assault, Mischief to Property Under $5000 and Fail to Comply with Undertaking.

On March 6, 2023, police received a report of an assault, which took place on December 11, 2022 at a residence. Police say a 39-year-old male suspect allegedly repeatedly assaulted the adult female victim and would not allow her to leave the home until she managed to escape on December 12, 2022. The suspect was arrested at BCC where he was in custody on unrelated matters. He will appear in court today on charges of Forcible confinement and Assault.

On March 22, 2023, Brandon police received a report of an assault, which took place in a residence on March 11 and March 13, 2023. Police say the suspect is accused of repeatedly assaulting an adult female victim by biting and kicking her. A 47-year-old male was located and arrested yesterday. He was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today on charges of Assault X2 and Assault Cause Bodily Harm.

On March 22, 2023, shortly after 8:00 pm, police responded to a report of a female passed out in a restaurant in the 1000 block of Middleton Ave. They say the 26-year-old female was in no condition to care for herself, so she was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

On March 22, 2023 shortly before 10:00 pm, Brandon police responded to a report of an intoxicated female outside of a residence in the 500 block of 13th. The homeowner told police he didn’t know the female, and she was in no condition to care for herself. She was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

On March 23, 2023 shortly before 2:00 am, police responded to a disturbance at a residence. Police discovered that an intoxicated 41-year-old male was allegedly responsible for the issues. He was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober to prevent the situation from continuing.

On March 22, 2023, a 22-year-old male was arrested at the Brandon Court House on outstanding charges of Fail to Attend Court X2, Impaired Driving and Drive over 80mg%. He was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today.
