The Brandon Wheat Kings began their road trip in Saskatoon in what was their 3rd meeting of the season. After the Blades took a 4-2 lead after the second period, the Wheat Kings would storm back to force overtime after Jake Chiasson scored with only 10 seconds left. Conner Roulette would avoid the Wheat Kings comeback after a 5-4 Blades win in overtime.

Tonight (Dec 7), the Wheat Kings close out their mid-week trip in Prince Albert Wednesday night. These two clubs met last Friday with the Wheat Kings coming out on top 5-4. It was a game where the Wheat Kings had a 5-2 lead after two but the Raiders would storm back to score a pair and gain momentum heading into Wednesday night’s matchup in their barn. The game was physical with Charlie Elick forced to leave the game in a stretcher after a collision and then a heavyweight tilt between Matthew Henry & Terrell Goldsmith. December 2nd’s game was the first time the Wheat Kings were able to score 5 or more goals in a game, 3 or more goals in the 2nd period this year and the first win for Head Coach Marty Murray. Q Country's pre-game show begins tonight at 6:45 pm - Face-off and play-by-play with Chase Johnston at 7:00 pm
