Prairie Mountain Health says construction upgrades to the Brandon Regional Health Centre visitor parking lot are set to begin today (July 20) and continue to the end of September.
Although there may be times where parking is limited in certain areas, the parking lot will still remain open with one entry/exit always in use —with as minimal disruption to traffic flow as possible.
The upgrades are related to new installations being made for parking lot controls, including the pay stations, gates, curbs and software required to manage both the public and physician parking lot.
The current parking pay stations will be removed from the parking lot kiosk and relocated outside the kiosk. The two pay stations will remain in service for the duration of the construction project. Watch for signage regarding parking lot payment options.
