I used to have the cutest little spare room set up. It was cozy and inviting and just waiting for overnight company to feel comfortable in. I’m not sure when or how it happened but it has become the room where everyone in my home puts things they’re not using at the moment (and probably never will again). I affectionately refer to it as our hoarder’s room. Whenever I suggest to my family that I am going to “clean out” the hoarder’s room I am met with “make sure you don’t throw out any of MY stuff!” So, let me get this straight, you no longer use it, you no longer want it in your space, but you aren’t willing to part with it? Then I guess we’re going to need a bigger house. They say if something doesn’t bring you joy it’s time to get rid of it so this week I’m going to tackle that spare room turned storage room. I’m pretty sure by the time I get rid everything in there that belongs to my husband and my son that there will be plenty of room to store the things I’m not willing to part with.
