When should you go on a macaroni and cheese diet?
If you need to cheddar a few pounds.
Let me begin with a simple admission. I Love my Mac and Cheese. Lunch on the run, that food you can throw together with nothing but a Hot Plate and a bar fridge, the PERFECT home-from-the-bar-treat.
But life is looking a little different now-a-days. Keeping the kids fed during lock-down requires a little more creative energy on your part – you need to think outside the KD “box” . While everyone has that thing they add, be it mushroom soup, Hot Dogs, tomato sauce… you will find no judgement here.

BAKED SALSA AND MAC AND CHEESE.
What You Need
- 1 pkg Macaroni and Cheese
- 1/2 cup salsa
- 1/2 cup Shredded Cheese
Make It
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Prepare Dinner as directed on package. Stir in salsa.
- Spoon into greased 1-1/2-L casserole dish. Top with cheese.
- Bake 15 min. or until heated through.
