These times have been stressful for everyone and self care has become more important than ever. It took me a long time to “look after myself” but once I learned to take some time for me there’s been no looking back. My go-to for self care is float therapy. Aside from the health benefits I personally get from float therapy I get completely absorbed in the escape. That 60 minutes of calm, quiet time with nothing but my own thoughts are like gold to me. Maybe it’s the release of all responsibility for a brief time, or maybe it’s knowing that for 1 full hour no one can make demands of me. All I know for sure is that when that 60 minutes is over I come out relaxed, refreshed, and ready once again to take on whatever comes my way. Do You take time for self care? What’s your go-to?
