Thanksgiving is on Monday and all I can think about is all the food! I talked about how I love dessert and my pumpkin pie but I have to talk about the second best thing about dinner… the side dishes. It just wouldn’t be Thanksgiving without all the different choices of sides to compliment that golden turkey. For me I’m pretty simple, give me some potatoes and gravy with some mixed vegetables and I’m a happy girl. Last year though I tried this sweet potato pie thing. It was like a sweet and savoury side and not a dessert. It was good I would eat it again.
We also have perogies and the classic cranberry sauce and of course my all-time favourite, the stuffing! I can seriously eat that stuff just all on its own without the turkey and everything smothered in gravy. Oh yeah got to love Thanksgiving with all the food and all those delicious sides.
