I’m sure we can agree that the COVID-19 Pandemic has changed the way we look at things
From personal hygiene to who we can’t see. But what about birthdays? Your birthday is a day dedicated to you. Before the pandemic, you may have had a party with your friends and family. And the birthday tradition of blowing out the candles on the cake.
With the pandemic, I feel like we need to end this tradition of blowing out birthday cake candles and here’s why.
According to a 2017 study, blowing out birthday candles increases cake bacteria by 1,400%!
Even without a pandemic that is disturbing. So I vote we end this germ-filled barbaric tradition and instead use a paper plate like a fan to blow out the candles
