I first had my ears pierced when I was about 12. I remember begging my mom to take me to get it done. It was something I really wanted! By the time I was 16 I had four holes in each ear. Now, when it comes to getting a babies' ears pierced, I have some opinions. Personally, I am not a fan for a few reasons. I believe it should be a personal choice and by doing that, you take that choice away.
That being said, I can understand why this mother had a huge fight with her in-laws.
A mom-of-three shared on Reddit, that she’s always had issues with her in-laws but tried to get over them for the sake of her husband.
But, when they were recently watching her kids, the in-laws took her year-and-a-half daughter to get her ears pierced.
The mom says the in-laws specifically knew they didn’t want it done, but the in-laws called her "irrational".
The mom has now banned the in-laws from being with the kids without her or her husband present.
In your opinion, was the mom overreacting or were the in-laws in the wrong?
