RM of Cornwallis
A Level 2 fire ban remains in effect, prohibiting all open burning and suspending existing permits. Only enclosed, supervised fire‑pit appliances are allowed.
RM of Elton
The Level 2 ban has been lifted, but all open‑air fires still require a permit and explicit municipal approval. Burning without authorization may result in enforcement action and fines.
Residents across Westman are urged to check their municipality’s website before burning.
